Stay Safe! Teenage Girls and Young Women (Session Plan)

We use a youth voice approach when deciding what sessions to deliver therefore all session plans are created at young peoples request.

Female members have told us that they dont feel safe in some environments.

This session plan aims to empower teenage girls and young women with the knowledge and skills to stay safe and assert their boundaries, promoting confidence and self-care.

*Objectives*
1. To understand personal safety and boundaries
2. To identify strategies for staying safe online and offline
3. To develop confidence and assertiveness in asserting boundaries
4. To promote healthy relationships and self-care

*Safeguarding Considerations*
1. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
2. Establish clear boundaries and expectations for discussion.
3. Provide resources for support if needed.

*Session Plan*
1. Introduce the topic of safety for teenage girls and young women asking girls to share their thoughts and experiences.
